I hope your darling is as excited about the first day as I am!! Please encourage him/her to relax because tomorrow is going to be just fantastic.
I wanted to let you know about a few things (if you are already checking the blog):
I think that's it for now. I'm so looking forward to a wonderful year together with your sweetheart!
I wanted to let you know about a few things (if you are already checking the blog):
- We will have our first PE class tomorrow, so your child can wear his/her PE uniform to school and remain in it all day. Our next PE class will be on Tuesday, Day 3.
- What should your child bring to school tomorrow? a healthy snack, lunch (or lunch vouchers), backpack, water bottle, a DAA hat (if you already have one) and that's it. The school provides everything else that's needed (supplies, notebooks, etc).
- I will send home a plastic folder/file with some miscellaneous back to school information. Please look through those items and let me know if you have any questions.
- For the rest of the week, we will be sharing "Me Bags," which are a fun way to get to know each other. All of the information can be found here, which is our class' weekly "Assignment Sheet and News." By reading this each week, you'll be able to know exactly what your child is learning. This also provides a great opportunity to connect with your son/daughter when you pick him/her up from school or talk about school around the dinner table.
- You can find our daily schedule at the bottom of the home page. It's also on a page (see column on the far right -->) listed "Calendar and Schedule."
- I will be showing this slideshow, ES Common Agreements, to the class tomorrow. You are welcome to view it, as well, so we are all on the same page in terms of expectations. You could even ask your child how he/she is doing with following them, which would be a great support to us!
